I assume by 'big girl' you mean not what society deems as average. First, there are a whole lot of truly shallow men out there. Second, there are people who accept you as the whole package--those are the ones worth your while. Third, just because you might have a few extra lbs doesn't mean you're not fabulous, but you have to ask yourself: Am I putting my best self out there? Am I happy with myself? If you're not, chances are, that's probably reflected in your personality (even though you may not realize it).

I can tell you, because I used to be a lot heavier, that it's very possible for men to love a larger woman just as much as it is for them to love the smaller me. You have to accept yourself, love yourself, and put your best self forward and really accept that there are men out there who will look at your and accept you--just as you are.

p.s. the right one is worth the wait!

I totally feel your pain, Lulu! I am overweight myself, and don't tend to get attention from guys. It's mostly a cultural thing - our society places a lot of emphasis on thinness, so the majority of men feel the same way. But there are some guys who can see beyond weight. Try to hang in there!

You haven't met the right guy yet. Some guy is going to come and sweep you off your feet, just be patient.
