i am getting a female jack russell terrier puppy at a good deal, i live in a flat but a military campus , i have a transferable job, but will always live in campus like areas..... is it ok to get JST puppy?

They are hyper dogs and need obediance training and lots of attention and activity. They are very very smart and will find things to get into if you don't provide a lot of stimulation. They also tend to be vocal. If you start her off on a good note, then you should be ok....remember though.....LOTS of attention and activity.

No that is not an apartment dogs. Terriers are pretty hyper active. If you live in a flat then I suggest you get a cat instead.

I guess so, I have a femail jack russel mix. They are very active, hyper little dogs. If you have the time to train her and walk her everyday then go for it. But make sure you are prepared for the breed of dog she is.

Terriers tend to be on the yippy side... which can be a real problem in campus living environments... the exercise requirements are the least of my worries!

Just know that these dogs are high energy!! They will need lots of exercise....at least 30 to 40 a day or they might take out there their pent up energy on you house!! Good luck!

a jack Russell is a very hyper dog that needs plenty of play time, i am afraid keeping it inside all day will result in everything you own being torn to pieces.

Yes, everyone I know that has Jack Russels keep them as inside dogs, infact I dont know of anybody that keeps them outside, everyone in my neighborhood is indoors too. So, yes go ahead.
