she called me last night, and she told me she loved me. and she asked me if i remembered the promise we made to each other.. about if we ever did anything with anyone else, that we'd tell each other... and she told me she kinda kissed her best friend. she told me she even saw it coming, but it just reminded her of me, and how much she missed me. and it reminded her of the night when i last saw her...she told me that she was sorry, and that she didn't mean to. that she didn't mean anything by that kiss. i think this long distance relationship is falling apart. but i still love her... what should i do?

Long distance relationships don't always work. The sad thing is that there is too much temptation in this world. You don't "kinda" kiss anyone, she did kiss him and it was cheating wether she thought of you or not. If she saw it coming and she didn't get out of the situation, then she is not meant for long distance relationships. The only way to resist temptation is to not put yourself in that position to begin with. If you want to forgive her, you can, but she will probably fall again. Do you two have any plans to be near each other in the future, or are you just seeing how it goes? That makes a difference too. If you don't have any plans to be together (s/a after college, when one of you finds a job near the other, etc.) then you two are just prolonging your break-up. Also, if she can't be faithful to you, you can love her, but you don't have to be with her. Find someone who can be faithful to you. There other women out there.

If it's just the one time and she's sorry as she claims, then it's certainly something you can forgive. But it sounds like you think this is just a symptom of bigger problems.
Long distance relationships are hard. Is there some way you can see each other more or move to be together? If not, it may be time to put the relationship on hold for a little while. If both of you are still interested after a while, you can get back together. If not, maybe it just wasn't meant to be.

The trouble with love is that it doesn't care how bad you get hurt. Love stinks.
My boyfriend kissed his best girl friend. That was 3 years ago and I'm still not over it completely. Sorry but Ive got to say, if you are young and the long distance thing is a long term thing. Say goodbye. She will learn from her mistake and become a better person. or a better liar.

I would have a problem with it as well. Kissing other guys on the lips is a big no no, and most respectful girls wouldn't do it. Tell her you ain't happy about it because you don't feel it's appropriate, and if she says she'll carry on doing it then I'd finisher her. If she cared for you she'd stop behaviour that makes you feel uncomfortable.

You can either torture her like this (if you're not going back soon) or you can let her go for her own good. If she misses you so much she's kissing guy(s) in the dillusion that they are you or remind her of you, it says a lot. She loves you, but it's really hurting her. Let her go. Unless you're going back to her soon, that's the best solution, for both you and her. Best of luck. I'm so sorry.

my 1st love is my best friend, we were together for 6 years.he had to move away and we tried the lond distance thing but we grew a part. I'm now with some that i have 2 kids with we have been totogether for 7 years.my best friend just moved back and wanted to get back to gether.i told hI'm no. what im say'n is if she loves you like she said that she does she wouldn't have done it.why don't you take a brake and see what happens.

oh that isn't gud. my best friend is a boy but I'm also engaged. I'm guessing that she is really close to her male friend. if she did it because she misses you there's no stopping her from having a really close moment with her friend again.
because ur not there you cant make her feel secure. so she probably looks towards her friend for comfort. a long distant relationship isn't gud especially if she feels she has to cheat on u feel close to someone. i think it would be best to let her go.
sometimes you have to let the people that you love go evan if it takes a while to get over it.

My relationship is almost the same as yours, but in my case i kissed my best friend ( and now i don't know why) and i told my boyfriend that I did and he forgive me the thing is that if she is in love with you you should trust her because your body gets temptations If she ever does that again then you'll know shes playing with you.

get ur *** on a bus or plane or drive to see her surprisingly! then have lots of good, rough sex with her! bang, literally, into her head enough sexual memories to keep her from mistaken u or settling for a substitute ever again! if yal love is still there then dont let it go. and if yal live to far from each other, set up an meeting place in the middle and have the times of ur lives, with lots of time spent in bed. sex is the closest u can ever get to someone. when me and my boyfriend start arguing alot over dumb stuff, its probably cause we havent had sex in a while and our bond juice is wearing low!
