CHILI MAC
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 lb. uncooked elbow macaroni
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
Italian seasoning
Onion powder
Garlic powder
Salt & pepper
Cook macaroni in separate pot according to the package directions and set aside. Brown beef in skillet until crumbly. Drain, leaving about 1 tablespoon of the grease in skillet. Add tomato sauce. Now add the cooked, drained macaroni and mix well. Stir in the seasonings to taste. Then simmer about 10-15 minutes to blend the flavors. If not moist enough you may add 1 (6 ounce) can of tomato sauce.
Top w/ your fav cheese.

If you like Asian, buy a box of Annie Chun or Simply Asia noodles- they come in many different varieties. (Soy ginger, chili, szechuan.) Boil the noodles for about 5 or 6 minutes. In the meantime, chop up whatever fresh veggies you like- carrots, broccoli, scallions, mushrooms. Put some edamame (soybeans) and shrimp in a colander and soak the whole colander in a big bowl of warm water. When the noodles are done, drain them, as well as the shrimp and edamame. Add your vegatables and the sauce packet from the noodle box. If you want, add a can of water chestnuts. Put back on the stove and slowly simmer the sauce in with the other ingredients, stirring every now and then.
It should take you about 10-20 minutes, if you exclude the time it takes to originally get the water boiling on the stove for the noodles.

I hate to sound goofy - but have you checked out Rachael Ray's cookbooks? She has like 3 different ones, based solely on the 30 minute meal idea. She also has a show titled that on Food Network and allot of her recipes are available on their site.
Good Luck!

Well, I know of a 'tasty' snack.
It involves 'beanless' chili (Hormel).
Cream chese.
And shredded cheddar cheese.
Fill the bottom of a dish with cream cheese.
Then throw on a layer of the chili.
Lastly, on the top, put the cheddar cheese.
Throw it in the microwave until it's melted and feels warm.
Serve with chips.
Woohoo! That stuff is wonderful, you won't be sorry you made it.
Other than this, I would just say, order carry out from Panda Express.

This one's my own creation, so there's no magic recipe. But darn it's good.
1 package Jennie-0 Italian style turkey meatballs (you could use regular ones, but these are so darned good)
handful of large mushrooms
handful of small Roma tomatoes
1 colorful (red, yellow or green) pepper cut into 1"x1" chunks
1 Vidalia onion cut in large chunks
1/4 cup Italian dressing
Marinade the veggies in the dressing. Then alternate the meatballs and veggies on soaked bamboo skewers. Pop on the grill for 3 mins on each side.
Serve with pita bread or tortilla shells, a little sour cream or Tzatziki sauce, and grilled corn on the cob.
Boyfriend and his kids love the recipe and it stretches SOOOO far if you need to...just add more veggies.

Big Pot, Plenty of olive oil, couple of cloves of finely chopped garlic, throw in a couple of tins of crushed tomatoes and a couple of drops of tabasco (optional but it's very good), bring to the boil, simmer it while you cook some pasta. When the pasta's ready, finely chop lots and lots of parsley (it works without the parsley but it's much nicer with it) and stir it in to the sauce. Drain Pasta, pour some/all of the sauce on it... mmm... tastes great.
Optional: if you can't stand the idea of a meal without meat, Fry up some chunky bacon pieces or similar at the start and continue as above...

Here is my simple Bachelor's meal:
Ingredients:
Sausage (Garlic Sausage or whatever you like)
Corn
BBQ sauce
1) slice the sausage into bite sizes, start cooking it in a skillet.
2) when you have it mostly cooked, drain any excess grease
3) add the corn and BBQ sauce
4) simmer it all together for 5 to 10minutes
5) season to taste and serve
Quick and easy. I like to add a bit of garlic power or cayenne pepper to spice it up a bit.
