I believe that fat people should not be labeled. I am overweight, and I am trying my hardest to lose some weight. I have been exercising much more and I have been eating less. I started at the beginning of June and I have lost 9 pounds as of today. Someone said on this thread that we should just stop discussing something that we couldn't change. We can change how much we weigh with hard work and diet! There was a study that was done and it said that in forty of the fifty states, 20 percent of the population (in each state) is overweight. There are fat people all around us, and they all have the same problem. Many Americans are overweight because they eat too much and don't exercise enough to balance it with the exception of diseases. I am starting to think you are overweight and that's why you are asking this question. To find out what other people might think about you. Overweight people should not be labeled. I think we should also stop refering to them as "fat", but a more polite overweight would be better than "You're FAT!". When I am ever excluded from something because I am heavy, I know that whoever's desicion it is to exclude me is heartless. I am so saddened when I hear the words being said to someone. People need to learn that just because we are overweight, doesn't mean we aren't people. We have feeling too, and when we are teased or excluded, we feel sad and angry. This is another one of the things that has plagued humanity on Earth. Maybe some day, overweight people will be more appreciated.

I think that they should be gathered up and put on an island without any food so that they can turn to cannibalism and eat each other. There should also be the fat police so that if any fat person is caught in public they could be hauled away to the island for the life they deserve. Was that was the kind of answer you were looking for or do you want something more sympathetic?

I feel that you better be fat to ask that question, even though I'm thick as hell, you have no respect or enough brain power to ask a question that will do you way more good than than that one. The question is..How do I feel about skinny people"? I think that if someone cares to make fun of a "fat" person in front of me,I'll slap the crap out of them,or shove them into a rose bush,or whatever level they have me on at that point. I think as long as "fat" people carry themselves well, along with hygiene and not disgustingly lazy, nobody should be judging because only one person can judge us, and that's the man above.

I don't feel anything about 'fat' people. I weigh 140 lbs and some days I think I am fat. People are people no matter their weight. I think that if a person takes time to worry about someone elses size then they have too much time on their hands.

Fat people are the majority in the world today. It is not their fault and they should never be judged! Look at the crap that we eat today! There are not many health food stores around and exercise places are too exspensive! I am fat and I try to be thin, but, it is impossible with the lifestyle and financial state that we are in! Food is the only exciting thing we have and can afford and only people that can put aside the time and money can be thin and healthier!

To be honest I feel sorry for them...I am a skinny person and wish to be skinny all my life...Whenever I see a fat person it motivates me to live a healthier life...And I don't understand how they allow themselves to get so unhealthy and out of shape...I know some fat people make the excuse of having problems in their lives, but hell everybody has problems not just fat people...It doesn't mean that you should look to food to be the solution...I find it inspirational for those fat people who have realized that they need to live a healthier life and take steps to loose the weight...I believe that not everybody is born skinny and people have different body types and that is all good as long as you are healthy and not stuffing McDonald's down your throat...And it sickens me to see parents feeding their children whatever food they went...Who wants to see a 150lb five year old...Disgusting

I worry about your health.
I don't know your age or the rest of your health situation, but you need to look at ways of slimming down if you are yourself a fat person.
We also need to carefully consider what is "fat." Some people are a little larger than others and it has little to do with health or lifestyle. Some people might be called fat by other people but not by me.
I know so-called "fat" people I like very much. I know others I don't like, but their being overweight isn't the reason I don't like them.
If you are overweight you are at greater risk for health problems such as diabetes and heart disease.

Well fat people were also HUMAN BEING so who cares? But most fat people has decrease self esteem, they don't have control of their surroundings for some reason..and that they turn upon themselves. In yourself you have control, you enjoy what you want to eat and after a while you regretted it. Eat when you are hungry, exercise, and find some enjoyable activity that will divert you from eating. IF YOU ARE FAT!

Personally I find them unattractive. And I imagine it is gross and uncomftorable to be carrying around all that fat. I feel we need fat people to make the skinny ones look good. An ugly skinny person is more attractive than any fat person.
