Last year I was 8stone 8 and felt healthy.A year on ive lost 1 stone but also gone from a size 12uk to 6 uk.
I get stomach pains when i eat.Not every time but often enough.
I get the runs every 2 weeks.I do eat alot of sweet things.Apart from that I eat a little less than I should because of the pain when I do eat.
The pain is at the bottom of my ribs (stomach i think)
I feel sick alot too almost 20 hours of the day actually.
Can anyone tell me whats wrong?

what youre describing sounds like it could be chron's disease. a friend of mine has it, and gets all those same symptoms. does it get worse when you eat certain foods? do you ever get black stools or blood in your stool? this disease is very unpredictable, and you have to specifically ask for the test for it. it is known for late onset in most people, but can start as early as late puberty. you will loose weight, and get sicker when you eat certain foods. here are the symptoms i found on a uk chrons site:

The symptoms of Crohn's disease vary according to its site, (i.e. small or large intestine) and severity. However, the following features occur in most cases.

1. Diarrhoea - sometimes, but not always, with blood.

2. Abdominal pain and tenderness over the intestine, often more severe in the right iliac fossa.

3. Weight loss, and in children failure to grow.

4. Fever.

5. Tiredness.

6. Sores and abscesses around the anus, which have a discharge. These may be the first signs of the disease in some patients.

7. Other symptoms not involving the intestine may occur:

I. Sore mouth due to ulcers on the tongue or inside the cheek
II. Painful, inflamed eyes (uveitis)
III. Painful, stiff or swollen joints, e.g. arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis
IV. Sore, red lumps on the skin (erythema nodosum)

its a strange disease, in that its affects different people in different ways, one person will have sores and lesions in the mouth only, another will have holes in the lower bowel. i know that aloe vera juice helped heal his lesions. feel free to write me for more info. ive posted the web address below.

sometimes i get pains to depending on what i eat. your stomach is trying to adjust to all the chages your making eating and not eating sugary foods are harder to digest which may cause the pains -try more bran. i think your not eating enough roughage. you need to build back up your eating with things that are wholesome, try brown rice and brown bread - foods that are filling in small portions definatly cut out or down your suger intake.
depending on your heigt - as a guide , 10 stone(140lb) is a healthy wieght for 5"8 so you do the math for your weight and slowly build up your food intake.keep your portions the same daily.also try the bio yogarts and the yakults.
you need to look up a dietary plan and see what your laking. going to a size six is ridiculously unhealthy i feel for you go see a doctor

Something's wrong with your digestive system. it could be anything from an infection to IBS, stomach ulcer etc.

You shuold really see your doctor. Nausea that lasts for 20 hours a day simply needs addressed so does your weight loss. As for eating sweet things because they seem to go down better than anything else ... It's not good!

Your doctor needs to refer you for tests and check your blood, urine and faeces.

Please do not wait any longer! Get a check up.

Best wishes

It sounds a lot like Irritable Bowel Syndrome or IBS. There are some fabulous medications available and you should contact your doctor for more information

Stomach pain is most difficult to diagnose and unless a patient is examined manually, it is difficult to say. How a patient suffered from stomach pain for a long time, see the story:

YOur runs suggest that it could be IBS

i would consult a doctor on this deal...however I would attempt to change your diet- kick the sweets, and try to eat more healthy things...my favorite is a grilled chicken salad...and subway makes a great turkey sandwich. Italian food is really good- just remember to eat it early....and....as mentioned before, ask a doc:D Good luck and feel better:-D

Maybe it's Irritable Bowel Syndrome? Have your doctor check it out sooner than later. You need to eat properly.
