My brake lights have quit working, and I suspect a burned out fuse. I do not have a manual for it, and the cover for the fuse box, which would normally have a fuse map on it, has "disappeared." In other words, I have been inside this fusebox frequently :(. But if anyone can tell me which fuse is the brake light fuse, I would appreciate it, as I would rather not go through every fuse.

Thanks a lot.

LOL..everyone is making this so complicated. Get 2 alligator clips (actually you don't even need those if you have a friend to look at the brake lights while you test this), put something heavy on the brake pedal to hold it down (or have another friend step on the brake), take a short piece of wire and by pass the fuses till something lights up, there is your brake fuse. Cost to test, nothing (if you have a 3 inch wire lying around), who needs all these fancy "circuit testers" any way?? Nye

I would use a test light and check the stop lamp switch on the brake pedal, and I have seen both rear brake lamps burt out. Also check the hazzard switch, if its not all the way in or out it will cause the brake lamps not to work.
