No, cell phones cannot be the mark of the beast, because they can be stolen, lost, or damaged. The Mark is an indelible mark that can only be rendered ineffective through the loss of the hand or death. I believe that it will be a microchip implanted in the back of the hand or the forehead.

The Bible says that the mark of the beast will be on a person's hand or forhead. This rules out the possiblity of cell phones having the mark of the beast. However, some preachers believe that the mark of the beast will be a computer chip implanted in the hand of forhead. Computer chips are already being implanted in pets and there has been a report of a person having one implanted in him.

There is nothing about cell phones in the Bible.
Did you know the word Antichrist isn't in Revelation? In the first century AD, multiple antichrists had already come? The Bible doesn't speak of a rapture at all?
Read what Revelation actually says, and don't trust those who concoct bizarre tales.

Unless they're in micro form and can be inserted in the hand or forehead, nope. Give it time, they're doing wondrous things with the verichip, soon it will be able to handle all our finances, keep track of our movements, report our medical conditions, etc.. Then you'll have something that could be the mark of the beast.
