well, sometimes it's really fun to go with contrast- light with dark- so if you went blonde, or atleast some highlights, it might look really nice. It's hard to tell since your discription is so limited, but just go with whatever you feel like. These are only suggestions- but blonde is a great summer time color, and the difference in skin tone and hair color will turn heads.

A dark brown..with some chestnut/auburn highlights. Also try a little edgier cut. Most girls i see with medium complections have no bangs, layers, or anything. You could be the start of a medium- complection-awesome-hair-revolution!

Your hair color is an *ethnic fingerpring*. Attempting to change your hair color is the same as attempting to appear ethnically different. Women who dye their hair blonde are attempting to look more Nordic. Don't change your hair color. The only time that you should dye your hair is when you get older and it starts to go grey, and when that happens, dye it it's natural color.

Get a caramel color base fade it and then put highlight/lowlight tips on the top, use gel and spike it.
