cold sores of the mouth, which is a form of herpes....do not kiss or have oral sex with anyone who has these. bells palsy is only caused by an infection of a major facial nerve....i know from experience...had it 5 yrs ago

Bell's palsy - a paralysis or one side of the face.
Trigeminal neuralgia - this is a problem in the brain that manifests itself with acute bouts of extreme pain on one side of the face normally.
