There really is a reason for everything, I know it sounds cliche, but it is true... we are all here to share God's love, perhaps that baby had done what it was sent here to do (a still born baby makes a big impact on everyone involved). You have to know that this is just a stop... earth that is... Again I know it is cliche, but think about that baby... in Heaven with God, that is truly a wonderful thought and to wish that a baby stayed in this earth (especially with all the war and horrible things that humans do to each other) it is truly a blessing that this child can know God now!!!!

You are assuming that all life takes place on earth.....not so. While our bodies are finite, our life energy, or soul is eternal and exist independent of physical bodies. Stillborn babies may be a growing and learning experience for the souls on earth who were anticipating that birth, or for the soul inhabiting that baby. As is the case with all suffering or joyful occassions for that matter.

A life is a life, no matter how long, and in all actuality Still born & sudden infant death can be traced to human error, not God error. Man made Chemicals, pollution, mercury exposure, drugs and alcohol abuse are the most common causes of infancy death.

The suffering, pain and death we experience around us is not the fault of our Creator.Jehovah God created the first human pair, perfect and placed them in a garden paradise. They were designed to live forever. However, due to their disobedience they lost all that not only for themselves, but for all mankind.Because as offspring,we inherit their imperfection,so we too age suffer and die.
But because of His great love for mankind,Jehovah allowed his only begotten son to come to earth and offer his perfect human life as a ransom sacrifice to buy back what Adam had lost.(John 3:16)
So not only do we have the opportunity to live forever, but all the dead have the promise of a resurrection. And once again man will be able to live in paradise forever which was God's original purpose.(Acts24:15,;Ps.37:9-11,29).

If you believe the fetus is just a blob of tissue, and part of the mother's body, then there is no point.

If you believe the fetus is a baby, then you have a good question.
The majority Christian belief is that the baby will be in heaven.

Teach strength maybe? Who knows why a lot of bad things happen. You just have to think the baby is your angel or something uplifting like that.

A lifetime is still a lifetime, no matter how short. Makes no difference to God.

We can't know the answers to everything, but there is a purpose. It seems fruitless and painful to us, but we can't see the big picture, God can.
