Not with any luck it is always tough to go from a dominant or dark color to a lighter color your best bet is to find a large Sisile or woven beige rug and put it on top of the teal unless the teal is just to overbearing then you would have to re-rug.

Carpet can be dyed. My sisters carpet was all white, and she dyed it three shades of blue (in different rooms)

Dying carpet from a dark color to a lighter color is not possible, but you might concievably have it bleached.

Probably, laying new carpet would turn out to be cheaper, an easier to have done.

i guess that's possible. but the color would look really weird. so it's best just to pay to get new carpet installed.

No, it is carpet. If you want another color, buy new carpet.

Too much time and energy. You'd probably spend just as much money trying to dye it as you would replacing it.
