No...that is absolutely incorrect. The book of Revelation NEVER mentions the word Antichrist. Antichrist is only mentioned in 2 books of the bible, with the actual word being used 4 times. You can find information on Antichrist(s) in first & second John. An Antichrist is any one who does not believe in Christ.
And who's to say it can't be both ways. The fiery inferno can & probably will be caused by massive earth quakes &/or meteor collision. You just need to be ready for Christ at that time.

I'm going with the Sun theory or a massive meteor strike.
I've seen the Sun so I know it's real.
I've read the bible. They wrote it so that the end will come in the distant future. It won't happen in the lifetime of anyone who reads the Bible so relax. Ignore the doomsday prophets but watch out for the anti-Christ.

The Earth will end 7 years after the believers are taken from Earth. Then the REAL Christ will come into power. He will come from the Heavens. Low and behold, the Apocolypse.
Just incase you want a more realistic approach, watch the movie Left Behind. It shows a very possible way of the end of the world.

I feel God gave us choice. I feel God breathed life into us. I feel the earth lives and we are from her. All that surrounds us we were given to by God to care for. The bible is our "help" guide to life. The end is what scares us. We always feel it is coming because we all die. We feel or wonder did we do all we could of done to be noticed in the end. The end might come from us. We are always fighting with our siblings to prove we know what is right for them. To prove or force religion. To prove or force control. Or by handing or giving away our free will to the devil or drugs that take our soul one piece at a time. Jesus is here just as the memory of our loved ones are here, too. It is what have you learned from him and your loved ones? Forgiving is the first step for all of us to survive. Bring peace to your home and life and all that you know. This is hard that is why there is so many example in the bible, of how hard it is to do. We are guided. We just need to listen. Example : mother's intuition it is some bond that tells a mother of danger to her child. Listen to find out what you are asking and don't be afraid to ask when you are alone. The answer will come in a day or two just don't turn it away.

Can you tell me what "most scientist believe"?
Ok, now you answered that...
Stick with Science... It will be right more often than the bible has ever been... What exactly about us has it been right about? Coming back before this generation passed? How about those 10 commandments? I would like to see 7 headed beasts the size of Texas come out of the sea...lol

Even if it wasn't going to end, let's not speculate about this and let people think as if it really is gonna end so that people would repent. And would want to do good for good karma or to go to heaven. Wtv reason it maybe. I mean, it's a good warning sign isn't it? It's like, a parent threatening to beat the child up if he does this or that, but at the end of the day, the parent wouldn't beat the child and the child wouldn't have done what is prohibited. :) Good isnt it?

scientific answers are right. Just because the world is falling appart like shown in the bible it is applicable to many periods of history. The bible was written with prophecies so vauge that the ancient men could make their cult seem valid even years later

I believe that humanity will destroy itself over one thing or another long before the world will end. I think science is correct that the sun dying will be the end of the earth though.

Humanity will destroy itself though not in the way the bible outlines. We'll simply deplete our Mother Earth of her resources and her ability to restore them and perish as a race. Yeah there will be great and terrible war...that'll only speed up a process that has already begun.
