the bible was not written by god! god did not just point a finger toward the earth and magical summoned a book and told everybody to believe everything in there. even if king james did write the bible, be reasonable, after 3-4 thousand years somebody had to rewrite the bible. there is no way that some king or high priest is going to preach something he does not believe and of course will change whatever he wants to change. the bible was written by a man or men who decided what he/they wanted in it. also there is more than one religion, STOP trying to convert everybody!

Hmmm, where to start....The Bible was not written in one day or 'poof' magically appeared. The Old testament covers a huge span of time, from creation to about 400BC. The New Testament picks up with a lineage of Jesus and His birth.
2 Timothy 3:16 states "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness"
Also, what do you know about King James and the Bible translation associated with him? HE didnt write it, scholars studied numerous writings, other versions, ect....before compiling it all into what is known as the KJV.
I do agree that over the years man has gotten involved in such a way as to 'muddy the waters' but that is why the original writings are so important. Also, if I read something and you read it too, there may be two different outlooks on what it means, this further confuses things.
I have said before that we humans cannot possibly comprehend all the God is, has done, can do....and when we try it causes problems.

Well if you do your research, Sherlock, the Bible was actually written my many different men over a long period of time in different countries. Plus these men were after Gods own heart. Your history books didnt just appear, did they? Someone had to write those too. Did you know that everything that is prophesied in the old testiment is coming to pass or has already passed in the new testiment. You really think some guys just sat around and wrote this book? Great question, for an amature...

You should stop whining first of all.....
Secondly, the Bible is true. There are far more copies of it in the whole world than any other book, even the Da Vinci Code, simply because we BELIEVE in it.
The Bible is also true because the Bible was written over thousands of years. However, all of the authors, not even knowing what the next or last has written, all wrote the exact SAME PROPHECY.
So, why shouldn't we believe and practise the Bible?

If you do not believe the bible is the inspired word of God...I respect your right to believe that.
However, I do believe that it is. Interestingly enough, before I began studying the bible, I said the same thing, it was merely written by men. After many years of study, I came to believe that the bible was exactly what it claimed to be, written by men under the inspiration of God's holy spirit.
I can't convert anyone. Only God converts hearts. But I do like answering questions when I can. Of course there are many religions, but I believe there is only one way to God; through His son.
If you don't agree, that's absolutely your right.

For all that believe in god and the bible... you keep the world sane. I will give you that. But when a non believer enters your small world please DONT TRY TO CONVERT THEM! Most non believers are good hearted people that live by respecting of others and do not sin anymore than the believers. Let us be and be kind and respect us as well as our beliefs. We respect your beliefs and we do not push our believes upon you. I think that the bible is a fairy tale and just in a long versions tells you to respect and be kind.

Do not give me 10 points....and I will not stop believing the bible even if you do...
It is amazing that people believe that the God who created the universe, cannot control the making of a tiny book and preserve it for the benefit of His creation.
It is also beyond my comprehension to imagine that the universe and all that is in it came about by a gigantic explosion, and a monkey had a baby human one day, or two maybe. (Male & Female)
It is impossible to convert everybody. The bible says many will not repent, even when they see miracles.
True Christians will not stop serving their God, however.

your right, the bible was written by a regular person. not some king or god. do you believe history books? that is all the bible is, its testimony of people that lived during those times. why is it you can believe the newspaper, or other written history of accounts, but the bible is so hard to believe.
do you believe hyrogliphics, or are those wrong too?

I don´t whether i can even remember everything in the Bible; of one thing i´m sure, that is; I believe the existence of God, the sinfulness of man, that man cannot save himself no matter how he, or she tries and that only thru the saving grace of Jesus Christ can anyone be saved. Excellent! A book written by a man cant be 100% correct.Quran is written by Hazrat Muhammad(P.B.UH)and God tell him what to write.Its the book that's said by God but written by his prophet.

no body can be converted, by any body, Jesus says unless one is drwan to me by the Father in heaven no body can come to me.so why should any one try converting everybody, do not be affraid.What i am experienceing i am sharing with others, Yogi sathguru tought me Pranayama, i was telling people to follow only after i have experience it. so the same way you have to experience the power of the word of God, i have and iam experienceing the the Power of the WORD OF GOD AND I AM SHARING WITH OTHERS.
