Keep yourself very busy. I just got out of one too a few weeks ago. Go see friends, go out, take up new hobbies. Going out on trips and doing outdoor things helps as well. I just went camping this weekend with a bunch of friends and I had a great time! Try to stay around friends for a while because it helps a lot.
Most of all, you don't need another person to make yourself happy. They should just eventually assist in increasing your happiness further down the road.

Its all in your mind, don't think about it all day and you will be okay. I got out of a 5 year long relationship last year and yes I was depressed and down all the time but I learned how to deal with it and got over it as the time passed. I know its hard but it has happened and you are the only person that can help yourself.

Get involved with religious activities, also talk to your doctor. You sound depressed which can be alieviated with medication. It is ok to feel this way.
