Im thinking in horror of what happened when your periods started if you did not know anything poor girl you must have thought you were dying...

Sex is a natural thing. But be cautious because there are some nasty diseases out there. Talk to your sex ed. teacher in school and find out methods of prevention before doing anything.

Well when we know your question we can answer it..
is 16 the right age for sex?? no. too many consequences to are not ready for them or able to deal with them
is 16 the right age for dating?? yes. get to know other people and start to see what you like and don't like, the way they act, they way they deal with things, can they follow though etc.
