Chewing it, because of the flavoring and such. Also, it really doesn't matter if you swallow your gum. All that's left is the gum base and that is digested normally in the 6-8 hours it takes to digest food.
Psh, people really still believe that urban legend.

Most of the calories are in the sugar - which dissolves and is swallowed as you chew. There is no reason to worry about swallowing gum. Hard to believe some people still parroting that old wives' tale.

Chewing. You are getting the sugar out of the gum. Like the flavoring, the sugar, which has the calories, gets swallowed.

as you are chewing the gum tha sugars come off of tha gum in to your system so it dont make a different if you just chew it or swallow it tha calories still go into your body

good question, only chewing it! its because of the taste thats added to the piece of gum. be sure to NOT swollow your gum, or it will be more calories, and its not healthy to swollow gum! TRUST ME!! bye

chewing. You shouldn't "eat" gum- it will stay in your stomach for years before it will veer be processed.
