I'm in the military and so me and my colleques are regulary subjected to them! The best treatment I have used, (which really is good) are patches that act like a new thick layer of skin over the wound called 'COMPEED' For whatever reason you got the blister I also recommend Zinc oxide tape on your feet as a prevention measure.

A blister is caused by the rubbing of your foot inside your shoe. The only way to prevent this is to either lace the shoes tighter, get better fitting shoes....or any other way to prevent the constant rubbing everytime you take a step. A blister is actually an injury, and a protective measure. If you pop it, the skin underneath it will dry out, and it'll become very painful. The best way is to let it pop by itself. You can place a large bandaid over it. Another thing is to go to a drugstore, and to get what is called "moleskin". This you can cut to fit, has an adheisive on one side, and is excellant for attaching to blisters.....even better than a large bandaid. But if you don't stop the rubbing inside your shoe or boot.....then it'll all come back again. So the key to treatment, is also prevention. Best of luck to you..........

You can always pop it, but they come back in not too long. TIME IS THE ONLY TRUE CURE, sorry.
