Of course science can't prove that god exists - the concept of god is such that he moves beyond the measurable world of science and matter. And if science did find a way of measuring god, he wouldn't be much of a god. Science, it should be noted, also cannot prove that god does NOT exist (a negative cannot be proven).
It's more pertinent that science is able to prove what HAS happened, whether it was with the help of god or not. Science has answered questions regarding the nature of the solar system, removing Earth from the centre and replacing it with the sun; science has presented persuasive evidence for the formation of life, and gradually more and more convincing theories are being revealed showing means by which the universe and everything in it could have been created that do not involve the interference of any god. It could be argued that God used quantum physics to 'create' the universe, and evolution to give rise to all forms of life, and we cannot prove he did not. But it is equally reasonable to believe that the processes of the natural world that science reveals do not call for a god, they operate on their own without prejudice or purpose. Ultimately, in the absence of any reason to believe that god did anything, it is rational to believe that there is no such god.

First of all, I would suggest that you stop reading anything by Dan Brown. Everything he writes is a lie. All scientific theories about evolution break down. The only option left is God. The big bang theory does not work because the universe is not growing at a regular rate as this theory states and the universe has not contrancted on itself yet. Darwin's theories are just plain wrong. We have all seen pictures of how the frow evolved. It turns out that there is not evedence. The pictures were fakes.

Perhaps, Truth is nothing to fear, so there is no reason for a Christian to fear good science. Learning more about the way God constructed our universe helps all of mankind appreciate the wonder of creation. Expanding our knowledge helps us to combat disease, ignorance, and misunderstanding. However, there is danger when scientists hold their faith in human logic above faith in our Creator. These persons are no different from anyone devoted to a religion; they have chosen faith in man and will find facts to defend that faith.
Still, the most rational scientists, even those who refuse to believe in God, admit to a lack of completeness in our understanding of the universe. They will admit that neither God nor the Bible can be proved or disproved by science, just as many of their favorite theories ultimately cannot be proved or disproved. Science is meant to be a truly neutral discipline, seeking only the truth, not furtherance of an agenda.
Much of science supports the existence and work of God. Psalm 19:1 says, “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” As modern science discovers more about the universe, we find more evidence of creation. The amazing complexity and replication of DNA, the intricate and interlocking laws of physics, and the absolute harmony of conditions and chemistry here on earth all serve to support the message of the Bible. A Christian should embrace science that seeks the truth, but reject the “priests of science” who put human knowledge above God.

The concept or belief in God is not a result of fear in its origination but to its realization. For example, when it rains, you use an umbrella to protect yourself against rain but before the thought of using the umbrella, did not the umbrella exist? Of course God is Higher, and if we were able to see God, would that make him more worthy of worship or less? Scientifically you have to believe in God b/c matter is based on cause and effect so it can not go indefinitely unless matter is perfect and eternal, which it is not b/c matter continuously changes but some thing perfect would not require change b/c it is sustained by itself. So matter has a end, but none the less if you believe that matter always existed and is perfect, who was the Decision Maker to initiate the original change of creation, since you believe in its eternity, you must accept it as perfect in the first place. Thus God must be in the formula as the Originator of creation and its attributes of cause and effect.

The answer depends on the questionnaires definition of God. My definition of God is "All that is" and all that is " is light ". Call it cosmic soup if want, we are part of it. If you understand the basic laws of physics then you might begin to understand God. My answer is yes, science is one of many ways to prove that God exists.

Yes, science points to a "higher being". And for us Christians, that higher being is GOD.

Only when He wants science to prove his existence will it be proven. God wants your faith, he doesn't want you to have proof.
