Ive done this weight loss transformation in about 2 months so this is why it gripes me, I eat under 500 calories a day and I only eat 1 meal a day so if anyone thinks they know why then please tell me. And no I'm not starving myself or depriving myself of food!

Muscle weight more then fat and water lost is often mistaken for weight lose. Lots of diets scams run as losing water weight so you lose weight but don’t look any different because all you lost is water which does not affect your body shape/mass. And depends on what kind of exercise you do you could be losing only fat in certain areas.

First, congratulations. Second, do you maybe do some weight training, or eat a lot of protein? It could have been that the bulk is replaced by muscle. Perhaps you could see that your problem areas are a toned even if you still look the same?

Also, 500 calories is not a lot at all. One meal a day will trigger a starvation reaction of your metabolic system, so you'll burn calories at a very very slow rate. I wont get started on how this will affect you brain function psychologically and physiologically. I'm now starting to think that the weight that you lost was mostly water.. But then you said you look the same.

How tall are you? Check out the web for the ideal weight for your height and build. You might not even need to lose all that weight. Good luck.

You are yo-yo dieting! When you limit your caloric intake that dramatically you are actually slowing down your metabolism, which will in turn cause you to gain weight. Also, one meal a day is not healthy. It's best to eat at least a healthy lunch of perhaps a chef salad or sandwich, and a solid dinner with a health portion of low fat meat (or equivalent if you are a vegetarian) or even up to four small meals throughout the day, some specialists insist on breakfast because of it's role in curbing hunger while providing much needed energy to get you through the day.
You are only going to hurt your body and damage your liver if you keep up this diet.
Now, something you didn't mention which has great relevance is your age. 137 pounds is a perfectly healthy weight depending on your age and height. 115 pounds might put you under-weight depending on your age and height.
To answer your initial question, did you take before and after photos where you pose standing facing the camera while wearing a two piece suit and then another profile view to compare your appearance? It is possible that you got used to the change in your appearance and adjusted without noticing it.

I am not sure if you already had this answer:
Muscle weighs more than fat, when you eat so few calories without working out (including strength training) you will loose muscle and not fat, that is where the fast weightloss comes from.
Think of it like this: Your body basicaly goes into shock when you starve yourself and thinks it will starve so it holds on to the stored "energy" in this case in fat cells and instead of burining fat you burn muscle.
Try and get your BMI checked and eat under that amount of calories by 500 or so but eat 4 to 6 times a day, a portion not more than your fist and for goodness sake train at least 3 times a week, cardio is good for your metabolism but if you really want to loose weight and look good then do weight training, at least a cicuit or two per visit.
The more lean muscle your body has, the more energy you need to feed the muscles, therefore by lowering your intake by 500 calories below your BMI and gaining muscle you will be fit and looking great in no time.
If you want to really go at it, eat all your complex carbs and your protien seperate, that is another story!
All the Best and good luck!

Eeek, something is definately wrong. You should see a difference. At least in the clohes they should definately be very loose on you. sometimes the face can look the same though like if you have big cheeks or are big bones. Anyway, eating that little is terrible. You need nutrients to keep the body system going. You probably slowed your metabolism too.

Do you do any cardio? What are you eating? You look the same because you see yourself everyday. If you lost all that weight, someone who hasn't seen you in a while will notice. Keep it up. Do it safely. And celebrate what you've lost--it's an accomplishment to be proud of.

You won't always see the difference, mainly because you're with you all day, every day. It's good to take Before and After pictures of yourself to make the difference that much more obvious. Twenty-two pounds in two months, for a woman, is borderline unhealthy! Especially on 500 calories a day.

500 calories a day is starving. You've probably only lost water because your diet is so restrictive that your body is desperately hanging on to whatever it can. Either that or you're gaining muscle. Are you working out at all?

Because you don't see yourself as others see you.
Be careful not to lose too much. You are not getting enough calories if you're only taking in 500 a day.

Your diet is wayyy too little, you'll end up in the hospital if you keep it up! start eating at least 1200 calories per day and exercise! That way you'll lose fat a healthy way and not just water.
