It isn't right for anyone to hit another person, but if a man is being hit every time a disagreement arises that is trouble. It might be in his best interest to leave the relationship to save future trouble, or just ***** slap her and tell her not to ever try that again. That may cause additional problems with police, her father, etc. But men should never have to take any crap from a woman, especially a smaller woman.

It all depends on the situation but in my opinion if you hit someone you are okaying them to hit you back. I think that in this case if the woman in constantly hitting her man she has some issues with anger management and maybe instead of hitting her you can do other things. For example put her hands under her and hold her down on the floor. I think that too often women get away with being the victim and should be held responsible for their actions like all humans.

If they argue so much and she hits EVERYTIME then she needs to just leave that relationship alone! If she is to the point where she is going to make bodily contact with intent to harm, then she needs a therapist and a new man! I mean really if you love someone you are not going to hit them! If it was just once then you can work on that, but everytime........ no that is ridiculous. She needs to be hittin another woman who could hit her back if she is wanting to fight all the time!

Any kind of hitting of someone else is not right. The woman needs to stop hitting him. The man cannot react by hitting her back. If he wants her to stop, he can ask her.. Or have a judge tell her.

No one should be hitting anyone else unless it is in self-defense. The woman should not hit the man. The man should not hit the woman. Period.

Most folks have got it right on -

Most men are way too strong to hit a woman and yes there are exceptions where the man is wimpy and the female is buff.

Second part of the answer here is that if the woman is striking you - she has just said goodbye, no ifs or buts...

My husband and I have an agreement. If he hits me I leave...If I hit him, he leaves. It is not ok for her to hit him and if I were him I wouldn't hit her (she may call the police) I would walk away before she could hit and tell her flat out that the conversation will not continue until she can do it calmly and without physical violence. Otherwise grab her hands so she can't hit...or wrap her so tightly in a hug that she can't hit....Walking away may be the most affective. If she hits out of anger...it may be time to get away for a while

A man, no matter what, should NEVER strike a woman. That being said, if am man IS in an abusive relationship, it is his own priority to get the heck out as fast a possible. Take care.

My opinion is that if anybody hits you, they deserve to be hit back regardless if it is a man or a woman. If she didn't want to be hit she shouldn't have hit the person in the first place. I don't believe in violence but i will defend myself!
