Do you come in his name? This past week our Church gave out groceries to a poor neighborhood in my city. I love when people asked us why we were doing this and to respond:Because we come in the name of our Lord Jesus. He comanded us to help. I love to see that in the faces of so many. Blessed be the name our the Lord Jesus! We handed out over 130 bicycles to children (25 Brand-New)..as God as my witness there is NOTHING like the face of a child when they recieve their very own bike..my heart was ready to burst!! I've had the honor to have served him some 30 years...and his praise shall always be in my mouth. Please share how or what God is doing in your lives..what his God doing?

Not to rain on your parade, or anything, But did you spend your own (out of your own pocket, in the store, your self, not the Church's money), If you did then I know exactly how you feel. If you did not then try it, it helps get rid of selfishness, and makes you feel VERY good inside. Last sabbath (Saturday), my wife and I had about 40 lbs of potato's and about 30 lbs of onions, and about 10 lbs of tomato's, and a few lbs of lemons that we were taking to church (we had bought with our own money), when we were inspired to stop at a house down the road and leave some of the food, they have 5 children, so we left more then half of what we had. The next Sabbath we were returning from church, when we see the wife out walking their children, she stopped us and told us that she had heard that it was us that had left the food on their door step. They had run completely out of food on Friday, and had no money, and did not know where they were going to get any from, so they prayed that night. The next morning they opened their door to get the paper, and there was all this food, she said that they fell on their knees right then and there and thanked God. Did that make me feel good to be used of God in that way? You Bet It Did And Does! Please, forgive any grammar mistakes, it is hard sometimes to remember to use good sentence structure when you are crying.

More in love with Jesus than ever before! After 30 years of walking with Him!

Though it is more blessed to give than receive, I spent many years giving generously to various charities, and enjoyed doing so. But after my ex-husband left me with a toddler and a baby, I was very humbled to have to accept help from the St. Vincent De Paul society.

I have concluded that we must all learn(as Paul puts it) "to be abased and how to abound".

It is all good for us as the just Lord decrees.

John 12:13
Mark 11:9, Luke 13:35.

I have to throw in Rev 1:3.

Christianity? Jesus? Dying?

What is the Imacculate Conception supposed to mean?

(NOT A VIRGIN BIRTH! - betcha never knew that.)

Jesus, the basis of Christianity? .

If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.

Gods do not die? Do they?

If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides Saturday was sacrificed?

Did Jesus give up Saturday for us? Big deal!

If Jesus died for our sins, there should not be any more sins, else why go through with it?.

If Jesus really DIED, he should be dead, dead, dead!

If you swallow this stuff, you are not going to like the folks who don't. You want them to swallow it too.

Christians want everyone to convert to their non-thinking in order to be 'saved'.

Believing and not thinking is like choosing a mental illness and becoming lost.

I think it is wonderful you are giving to the needy, but do you know I can also give to the needy and experience the bliss on the same child's face without believing in god. Good things can be done and experienced without believing in god.

Helping me to combat grief and sorrow, keeping me afloat in an ever changing society that is going to hell, and giving me the ability to have love in my heart for another, even if it is lonely..........
