According to many faiths, animals do not possess immortal soul. So your dog will not be going to "heaven". However, since heaven is a fairytale anyway, I say go on and believe that you will be reunited with your dog.

Dear dyboy,

Man can feel very close to their pets (animals) but these creatures are not made in the image and likeness of God. Animals have a physical body (just like man) and the breath of life (just like man) but they do not have a soul or spirit essence. Animals are not held accountable by God for sin (rebellion to God). When an animal dies, it simply ceases to exist and goes back to the dust of the earth. When man dies, his body will return to the elements of the ground of which it is composed but his spirit essence (soul) will either go to heaven to bwith the Lord Jesus Christ forever, or await the final judgment where he/she will be cast into hell forever. Animals do not go to heaven or hell--they just cease to exist. Man is accountable to His creator--the Lord Jesus Christ. For further info you can type www.familyradio.com into your web browser. I hope this will help you.

i'm very sorry to take heed to about your loss. and that is staggering about the cloud, in case you may want to submit the %, that would want to be cool. And definite, i have self belief that each and every one canines (and all pets) bypass to Heaven. have you ever examine the poem "The Rainbow Bridge"? do not examine it if you're at artwork or college or some thing, because i can assure it really is going to bypass you to tears. My kinfolk had to have our 10 year old canines, Skooter, placed down on Monday... so I actually understand what you're dealing with. upload: His kidneys were failing, so it replaced into only a count number of time previously we had to make that tough selection, yet he wasn't himself anymore. also, you could be able to seem up the poem on the web

I don't think that dogs go to heaven, but I could be wrong. God does have creatures up there. Maybe you guys will go to the same place. Who knows?

My old mother back home in Ireland when she was getting very old once told me that she had a confession to make. 'And what have you been up to mam' I asked inquisitively. 'Well', she said soft and low 'when I die, I couldn't care less about seeing your father, all I want is to meet all my favourite cats and dogs in Heaven'.

I am quite sure that God gave her the means of doing so.....

Sorry, but, no. :( According to your religion, animals don't have souls... they don't make it to Heaven.
