We need people who have a story to tell, some kind of unforseen hardship or generousity. I'm sure most people in the country need their houses decorating but we are here to help those deserve a team of thirty people decorating and £20,000- of furniture...
Basicly, tell me who you are and why we should help you.
E-mail your reason to
james.mackie@itv.com
I will then forward it to my producer.
We only have nine spaces left so hurry with your application.
GOOD LUCK

Hi James,
I would love a 60 minute makeover. In fact I am desperate for one ! I have a Georgian country house looks like a dolls house 3 storey 6 bed in south wales and I am having huge problem in decorating it and doing the garden. It was bought as a project for me and my husband a year ago.It had yellow beams and purple walls. Its got great character, like an ingle nook fireplace and lots of beams , and is dry and sound. It also has a new kitchen but is not decorated. It has 6 bedrooms. My bedroom is covered in teddy bears and its not relaxing at all !!
Im a teacher with 2 kids and my husband had to go and work in the middle east unexpectedly.
.I have had people here to give me a quote for plastering, gardening and making some sash windows for example and they just never get back to me (not even a call).I have had a go myself -trying plastering (UM bad idea ) building a deck and shovelling a ton of the wrong kind of gravel onto my back garden but I have a small budget and its just me and the kids.
On monday I paid the kids, girls,18 and 8 ,to paint a small landing in emulsion.
I got in from a hard day (teaching special needs kids art) in a local city comp and they had spilled a litre of eggshell onto a fairly new cream landing carpet.. PLEASE please help Im trying so hard and going backwards !!!!!

We bought a nice little dormer bungalow in Northampton that has wood-chip and painted paper everywhere. I origanally planned to strip all of this and repaint. I have since been suffering from angina and had to have a heart op'. We are now thinking of selling and possibly moving abroad, but people these days like to have smooth painted walls. Obviously a newly decorated house is going to sell more easily, so this would be a great help. We wouldn't want anything outrageous though.

I suppose I would like to see an episode of this as I can hardly put one decorating idea together for any one room.... but an entire house in 60 minutes? How much editing is involved? lol

Advertise in a newspaper. That way you get people in the areas you are working from.
I would but would Ireland do? :)
