Yes but you need to add walking to this too. Load bearing exercises help weight loss & are very good for your bones.

Of course the key to using an exercise bike is no burger or shake in your hand while peddling....LOL!!! On a serious note, you must keep up the tempo. Just sitting on an exercise bike and peddling will not really shed the pounds. But, if you crank up the volume on some up beat music and do an up tempo routine, you will lose weight by using your exercise bike on a consistent basis. Make sure you check with your physician first before starting any intense exercise program. If not, there is always the Eliptical.

As long as you aren't eating a cream cake whilst you doing it, then yes, you will lose weight using an exercise bike.

You can tone up yes but i'm not sure about losing weight. Use that as part of getting fit, eat healthily too and go swimming and long walks.

This is all geared toward losing weight and toning up

You could, but also you might not.

Firstly if you use it enough your muscles in your legs will build up, muscle is heavier than fat.

Secondly, if you're exercising and still eating loads of junk / bad food then you're wasting your efforts.

Just . . . use it, I guess. Start with 15 minutes a day for one week, then up to 30, then to 1 hour. After that, decide if you want to up it or not.

Yes. If it has the work excersise in it , it will probably help you lose weight . You should add other workouts to your scedual too . You will be fit in no time .
