Prehaps, the Greek,Egyptians, Sumerians and Aztec gods weren't myth. Maybe they were real beings, fallen angels could've posed as gods at one time. Do you think its possible? I mean I doubt all these people were making it up, they saw something.

To them The Sun, Moon, Thunder, Eruptions, Eclipses, Lightening, etc. were all Godly. To them yes, these acts of nature were very real...so one could possibly surmise that their Gods weren't myth. Their science simply couldn't explain everything and hence the "Gods" came along to fill that void and answer the questions. Humanity is on the whole obsessed with control and if they couldn't control it or answer questions about something than that something was attributed as an act of "God". Humanity has also used this as an excuse for dodging responsiblity for actions it has taken through time...God made me do that or God inspired me into that action (regardless of weather SOCIETY deemed it correct/right action).

In the Bible, Lucifer fell with 1/3 of the angels because Lucifer believed himself to be equal with God and rose up to take over heaven. As a result, Lucifer, the most beautiful of angels became Satan, the angel of light. Who knows whether some of the other fallen angels might not have done the same thing and decided to become a "God" to have people worship them.

So, could they be real; yes. Should we worship them as our God, no.

I have a slight opinion on this topic. I think all these gods were and are real, but I think they are the lesser gods and/or important angels assisting the One God we have and worship today. God is always said to be everwhere all the time, so I don't think it's a stretch to say he can send parts of himself to act as a more real and human god to certain peoples.

They are actually symbolic of interaction of the planets around us and elements after big bang. For instance, the 'christ' is the moon. Just parallel all we know about development of our universe now to the old legends and myths and it'll fall into place.

How many people alive today believe their religion without ever having seen anything? How many children believe in Santa without ever having seen anything? Rethink.
