Every time it's my birthday every one on my daddy's side of the family forgets even when I tell them the day before. When I do tell them on that day they don't do nothing for me. When it's my brothers birthday they always seem to remember and gives him what he wants. What should I do?

Give them a small present at your birthday. That is very embarrassing for them. It is not easy to respond to such a sweet revanche.

oh man im sorry. this may sound really crul but they must like you brother more. thats not right or fair to you at all. trying not to be selfish and think why dint i get anything, but thats a feeling anyone cant help but get. i cant relate to this, but think you will feel better with you self if you say...well im not selfish, if they forget my birthday again i will forgive and forget. and if you can do that you have really great charter and are a very giving person.

Wow....I thought that only I had that problem. Some family members send my dad and brother cards, but not my mom and I ......my dad is my step-dad. My brother is his full son. I just let it go and don't send them anything either. It hurts at times, but it's best to let it go. Saying something might just make it worse.

it must be hard for you but concentrate on those who remember and give you gifts on your birthday, not everyone will love you and not everyone will hate you so take advantage of those who love you. pay attention to those that make you feel special.

Nothing....the golden rule is to give not receive.....Or you could pitch a big fit until someone gets you what you want, but it's not very becoming

Don't do anything. Just don't remember their birthdays when it's their turn.

This certainly isn't fair, but it isn't your place to straighten it out. You might tell you father how this "favoritism" makes you feel and ask why his family does that to you. That should perk him up and come to your defense.
