he has never seen color before how does s/he know what is looks like?

If a person is totally blind and has been since birth, there is no way for them to know what color looks like.

They would only associate color with descriptions of others and material things. like cool water may make them think of blue or something hot like red, but again they would have had to of heard someone refer to these descriptions.

I think blind-born ppl have different dreams than us since they dont know how colors or anything look like. But I would appreciate an answer from a blind person!

I think I they were blinded after they learned how colours look like they will know it,if they were blinded so young to realise it they won't even imagine what they are they will no tknow but black,so I think the ones who knows colours pretty well will see coloured dreams bcuz there is no deifference between you and him you both close your eyes :),but for him it will be a great thing to dream :)

It is my understanding that no human dreams in color. I could be wrong about this, but that's what I've always been told.
