In my personal opinion it is better that McDonalds and Burger King's chicken sandwiches.

1/2 cup finely shredded colby-monterey jack cheese (or just cheddar)
1/2 cup shredded lettuce
6 white hoagie rolls (1 lb.)
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 lb thin cut boneless chicken breasts (Adding seasoning to chicken is optional)

Using either a grill or George Forman Grill, grill the chicken breasts till completely done.
Butter the sub roll and put on grill for about 1-2 minutes or until golden brown.
Cut chicken into strips while you wait for bun to grill. As soon as chicken is cut spread half of the cheese on the chicken.
Spread Mayo on both sides of the bun and quickly spread the remaining cheese on bottom bun (so it melts).
Place the chicken on the bottom bun and sprinkle with lettuce.
Place the top bun on and enjoy!
If desired add more ingredients to make all six sandwiches.

I'd have to say that a sandwich that I never get tired of is crispy bacon with a few slices of cheese (your favorite -- of course!) and on your choice of bread with a little bit of honey mustard for tang. Both me and my kid love this!

go rent the dvd "Spanglish". In the movie Adam Sandler makes a sandwhich, and there is an extra feature on the dvd where they show you how to make it. It's awesome!!! It has a fried egg, tomatoes, lettuce, bacon, mayo, melted cheese, all on toasted bread. I put salt and pepper on mine.

Either:
Crispy bacon with brie and redcurrant jelly on a baguette, or roast chicken, mango and mayonnaise with a little pesto mixed in, in a big fat granary roll
