If it is a digital picture, there are programs that change pictures. I use irfanview for most picture editing. www.irfanview.com. It is free, and it has a "convert to greyscale" feature that works well.

For myspace posting:
1) digitize your photo if not already digitized (get a scanner and scan it in as a .jpg file)
2) Open the .jpg file in Photoshop (or Photoshop Elements). If you can't use Photoshop, any software that can convert from RGB to Grayscale will do. Following are steps for Photoshop
3) In Photoshop, Click Image > Mode > Grayscale (if it says you will lose color info, click "ok")
4) Click File > Save for Web (there are other ways you can compress the file if the resulting compression is not small enough)
5) Go to myspace and post that picture just like any other picture on that site. (For further info on that, check the myspace instructions).

I had a picture of our new puppy back in november and the background came out blue, I didn't know why so I opened hp image zone and I selected adjust color and I got the color down to black and white and I saved it. I went to myspace and I edited my pics and added it. You can also make a cool slideshow by going to www.rockyou.com

Use a photo editor. The easiest to get and use is IrfanView. Its 100% free for use and its a very small download. You can do a lot of things like enhancing colours, applying special effects, resizing, cropping, reducing quality etc. with it.
Go to www.irfanview.com or search for "irfanview" on www.download.com
Once you install the software, open your image in IrfanView.
You will see an option in the "IMAGE" menu saying "convert to greyscale".

if not already in your computer, scan it. Just about any photo edit software comes with grayscale or b&W editing functions. If you have the original print it can be copied at you local drugstore/photshop computer photocopier into a b&w photo. scan that and you got your photo

Download FotoFusion from www.lumapix.com.
You can change to b&w, or add sepia, or change to all-over-tints.
