whenever i have a guy over my renst are soo overprotective!!! yesterday i hada guy over all we did was watch movies and stuff and my mom was like u cant close your door all the way ok...i dont think they trust me or somthin...

How old are you anyway? If you are under 18 its their house. Maybe they don't want a pregnant daughter?

It is very hard for parents to let go of their kids and I don't think that it is you that they don't trust. As parents they have a responsibility to make sure you are safe and many parents think (and not without cause) that teenage boys have their brains in their pants! Don't be too hard on them, I mean if you weren't getting up to anything but watching movies then why do you need the door shut anyway?!

They want to protect u because they love u. Try talking to them about this and come up with solutions that will work for everyone. Also u hav to try and gain trust. If they can trust u being with guys, then they will know ur responsible nenough n back off a little bit.

Parents know the temptations and how easily feelings and hormones can overtake your better judgement. Your mom is just looking out for you. She was a teenager once too... she knows the pitfalls and is just trying to protect you. You live under her roof, she buys your food and pays the bills so you must abide by her rules.

dont worry my rents are the same exact way. i had my neighbor over that they have known for 12 years and they still wouldnt let me close the door!!!! dont worry thats the way some parents are. they just want to make sure nothing happens

As long as you live under your parents roof they will always act like that. So just put up with it and if you can go to his house and see if it's different.

Talk to them about it. Ask them why they would not trust you. They just might not trust you. Talk to your mom. That what I have been doing.
