As far as I know there is no cure, as it is an auto-immune disease caused by certain genes, like the one they call HLA-DR4. Unfortuantely with auto-immunity, the body is fighting against itself.

There are some management techniques on this website http://www.rheumatoid.org.uk/ - I have psoriatic arthritis which is very similar in that it too is autoimmune, and have used this website before.

Quote from the website:
"The good news is that although we don’t yet have a cure for RA, medical knowledge about how the inflammatory process works and how to control it has increased substantially and there is an enormous amount of research going on as to how to target individual parts of our immune system with special biologic drugs, the advent of which in the form of Anti-TNF treatment, has simply revolutionised the treatment of people with this disease "

The latest biologic drug to be brought out is Remicade.

Management with NSAIDs or DMARDs can greatly help as well, especially in times of flare-up.
Acupuncture helps too for some reason...

Wish there was a cure.....

Imagine for a moment your arthritis completely vanishing right now.

If, in a moment, your pain and stiffness melted away. And your joints all of a sudden functioned like a well-oiled machine.

Like a magic wand was waived, you'd be able to jump up from your chair and run around the room like a kid.

And imagine that you'd never have to suffer as much as a pinch of arthritis stiffness or pain ever again.

I know this sounds impossible right now, but bear with me, because sometimes miracles happen.

It was a gift from a woman on the other side of the world. From the kindness of her heart, she took pity on my suffering and taught me how to completely reverse my arthritis.

Today, I want to do the same for you!

Did you hear the story of the woman who was mowing her yard, and was attacked by bees, and suffered over 200 bee stings? She said the only good thing about it was that her RA went away after that, and when interviewed two years later, had not returned.
