Cash bond means cash only. You have to bring the amount of the bond in cash only. You should get it back at the end of the court trial or whatever.

Bail bondsman do surety bonds and such.

I am not certain on that one. I imagine the bond amount has a lot to do with the decision and if they think you won't pay them back.
