What would you do if you won the lottery?

Question

A little daydreaming at the office lead me to this question. Let's say you won one of the big jackpots..like 300 million, all yours, what would you do?

I don't know why I asked this, there's no way I can say who's is better than someone elses.

Invest, have fun, and travel.

Buy a house with a stable, two horses, a dog, give let's say... 3 million to my parents? And save the rest I think... I'm quite a saver, so there's no way I'm spending it all right away. I'll just wait and see what can I do with it... I'll probably make some investments through the years- hopefully the money will grow that way :)

I would take care of my family first. Buy or build every family member a new home, Give them a few million a piece, Then I would take care of the people that help me, like friends that have been with me through hard times. Then I would build a house with a music studio for my husband to play with. New cars, shop all over the world, WOW I have big plans to need to play the lottery.

Get the hell out of Florida and build an incredible home in the Smoky Mountains on like 100 acres, and have some sanctuary, to help injured and abused animals. Oh yeah and travel the world especially Greece, Italy, Ireland and Scotland.

I would pay off those nagging bills, go on a crazy shopping spree, and then take a long time to figure out what to do with the rest of the money. I probably wouldn't keep more than a couple million for myself. I think that is just too much money for one person. I would help my family, and donate to charities that I believe have great causes.

First i would pay my tithes then i would pay my parents out of debt, buy their dream house and cars and make sure their bills were paid for the rest of their lives. Then I would buy my family and myself a house that had bedrooms for all 5 of my children and myself, enough bathrooms, a huge laundry room, space for family gatherings, and a shop for my husband to work on his old cars. Then of course we would get new vehicles and invest the rest of the money to help others and do God's will.

I'd laugh, because I wouldn't waste my money on something with such bad odds as a lottery. It's the poor mans tax.
Invest in what you believe in, play craps, lend money to people, etc. all these things have a much better chance of having some kind of return.

get an unlisted phone number, change nothing except pay off everything for at least a year. keep my job for the same year, say no to everybody that wants money, gifts, or favors including family, and think really hard about what i wanted. after the year then act but any gifts would have to be done very quietly.

build my dream house down in texas on the coast, buy a boat i could go deep sea fishing on, buy a 1969 camaro then install parachutes in the trunk and under the hood so i can drive it off of a cliff scare the piss out of whoever im driving with and then pop the chutes and float down. then with whatever is left put it in the bank and then donate the interest to the US Armed Forces.

well 300 mil its alot. the sate its self alwalys take a big persent of the money. they say they use it to benift us. most of the time they waste it on wepons to kill more people. i would use the money to those kid on the tvs who are in need. seeing them all skiny and ready to die at the age of 5 is not right. us that have money or enough should supourt them. if i was one of them i know i wish people would help me. trust me i know how hard it is to get money after 9 11. the econemy is all bad now. so thats what i would do whith that money. what would you do whith the money?

First, buy a house. Then, help my friends out of their financial problems. And then, use the remaining to rush away from my country every summer, to the other half of the world, where it's winter. I hate summer!
