Yes. We have the capabilities to shoot down any missile fired at this country before it makes landfall. There are "special" units all over the place that are trained to deal with this threat...AND...

We wouldn't launch a nuclear missile in response. The N. Korean people are brainwashed by their leaders propaganda, they shouldn't be punished for his wrongs. We would strike, but not a nuclear strike.
Education, it's your friend. Try it!

Probably not, considering the ban on Anti Missle Defense systems passed in the early 90's. Although I'd be skeptical that the U.S. follows the provisions of the AMD treaty.
PLUS... there's the whole nuclear holocaust thing... which means that in retaliation to the nuclear strike we would launch our missles, which in turn would trigger a series of launches from allies and enemies alike, thus ending the world.

One may wish not, because the fallout may fairly not in ordinary words wipe out a variety of of the already oppressed and deprived electorate of North Korea, yet may kill thousands of thousands in Japan and South Korea too, that are both countries that the U. S. purports to be so worried about conserving from Kim Jong Il's aggression. although, with the rigidity on Obama to teach "ability" (ie: To priove he's as vast a bully boy as any previous US President) there is continually the probability that this can take position.North Korea can be a properly-loved objective a minimum of. they are international pariahs. The insanity of this international not in any respect fails to amaze me.

Well if you look at the facts, they would start WW3 by launching nukes at us, because we would have to retaliate and then all of the middle east would come down on us, then Europe would attack them ( except for the French because they're wimps ) and it would be a huge war possibly ending life as we kow it.

Good question. . . The Democrats have tried to leave us vulnerable by opposing any anti-missle defense system ever since President Reagan was in office 20 years ago.
