In order to be fair, I've decided to insult the atheists.

Atheists - you're all godless and immorral and going to hell (AND IM COMING WITH YOU)

Does this satisfy the good Christians who have been emailing me complaining that I'm too harsh on Christianity? There, I've used my powers to insult the atheists. Is it all fair now? Is this not justice?

I don't think I quite understand. Someone felt insulted? I'm a Christian, and I don't feel insulted by you, or by anyone else. So, someone disagrees with me. Can I help it if they aren't as wise as I am?

I don't think you insulted any atheists, either, since they don't believe in God, or in hell. But at least they have the comfort of knowing that you are going nowhere with them.

If you are going to insult people of religious faith, shouldn't you be an equal opportunity insulter? You've gotten Christians and atheists, but there's a whole list of different religions you haven't attacked here. You've got alot of work ahead of you...

Powers? LOL, whatever makes you think you have "powers"? What "powers" do you think you have? Since when are you the dispenser of justice? Ambitious li'l tyke, aintcha??
(Could this be some sort of delusion you are suffering from? Perhaps you need therapy...or drugs...)

Why do you feel the need to insult anyone???? And just so you know, you have absolutely NO powers. People who have nothing better to do than to insult others, have serious personal issues with themsleves, and I really feel sorry for you.

Hopefully, before the time comes, when its your turn to leave this earth, you come to truly know God, otherwise, it is the one thing you are right about, and thats the fact that you will surely go to hell. Once you get there, you will look back on many things and have regrets about how foolish you were.

You can rage, and that feels good for the moment. It's distracting and it expends the restless energy.

In the end, it doesn't solve anything. It does not heal the grief. It does not answer the deeper questions that circle in your mind.

Baiting others may point out where they are or what they don't know, but it doesn't point out where you want to be or what you want to know.

Non-Christians like to point at Matthew 7 and show what hypocrites Christians are for "judging." The point of Matthew 7 is that sometimes when we have problems in our own lives, we pick at the minutia in the lives of others. Doing so keeps us distracted and in our minds justifies hyper-focusing on the imperfections of others rather than resolving within ourselves the problems we feel overwhelmed with.

There are two problems with this. It doesn't help the other person, and it doesn't solve anything for us. It's an ineffective waste of time.

Further, what if in healing what is within us, we could actually help the other person?

There are some questions that have to be wrestled with alone. While others can tell you their experiences, no one can answer them for you. The process is arduous, but worthwhile.

Whether we ever agree about God or not, I care what happens to you.

I am a Christian. I've never emailed you or complained, but why would other Christians complain that you're too harsh on Christianity? I've read your questions and answers at times, and while I may not agree with your view on things I simply see you as a person who doesn't believe in God or the way I do. I don't see what it would accomplish to COMPLAIN to you. God's used to being picked on. It has been going on for ages.

I am confused - I am closer to the godless atheists than I am the Xtians. I'm a witch. But when you say I'm going to hell, I get confused. . .

Since I don't believe in hell, as most atheist do no as well, are we going to a, Xtian hell, or some sort of special atheist hell, which I should imagine would be a lot like dealing with fundies on Yahoo answers. Can you clarify?

If you were to change would that not be hypocritical??? If you are to answer your true belief, then anything else becomes false. You may be mean to Christians, but if that is what you believe then I am really not obligated to read it, right.. Might be freedom of speach. I get some too but from the other side..
I say don't swear, don't direct at people personally and answer or ask truthfully..

Mr. Jim, I find nothing wrong with you speaking your mind as long as you're not being outright rude and hateful. You're an atheist, I'm a Christian but we're both intelligent human beings so why can't we get along? Not all Christians think atheists are immoral because they don't believe in God. I don't think anyone should insult anyone. Just my opinion though :)

Anyone who hadn't figure out that your questions are mean to Christians until now or until they emailed you, are not too quick on the uptake. In saying that, I don't mean to say I like what you stand for in any way and I'm wondering recently if I haven't been wrong about you all along, realizing that you couldn't care less because you're rather self-absorbed.

Everyone has a right to their own beliefs. If you choose not to believe in God, I say that's your right. However, you should not bash other people's beliefs.

Personally I believe in God. I spent quite a few years not believing and my life became unbearable. When I finally found my way, I've been happy since. I've also seen what the power of prayer can do...I've seen it with my own eyes.

Whether or not you believe and whether or not you criticize me, I'll still be praying for YOU.

Have a nice day, Jim.

Hell is a horrible place That I don't want to go to, so for me hell is not an option, I've got to do my best and make it to heaven!!!
my step father was atheist for 30 years then was saved and became a strong church leader before he passed away at the age of 42 and I bet if you could talk to him today he'd say he has no regrets...
