Why are we killing ourselves?

People these days smoke a lot enough though most of them know how bad it is for you. Wouldn't that be just plain stupidity knowing that you're killing yourself, but yet, you still do it? Why don't people care about themselves? It's so sad to watch somebody you love die from smoking.

I can understand how old people who have smoked ever sicne they were 16 or so have troubles quitting, what boggles me are the 14-30 year olds who are smoking, because they knew the risks before they started. I think there is one answer to this.

hey face it they r the ones who wanna die no one made them smoke. i tell my dad all the time that he is just gonna die in the long run and that these little things r just cancer sticks but he doesnt care. when people act like that u just have to move on there is no way of fixing they're huge mistake. just remember to live live to the fullest.

Nicotine is addictive. Much like chocolate or anything else we crave. It's not that we like killing ourselves, it's just that we're too weak to practice self-restraint.

immediate gratification is a temptation hard to fight. people often dont think of long term affects of their decisions. also, some people know and truly dont give a fk. they feel like theyd rather be happy now and whatever happens, just happens.
