I am a conservative Catholic and I have never been in support of the bombing of abortion clinics. I really like your analogy with 9/11; I never thought about it like that. Thanks for the different perspective.

They aren't all that different, except, people that bomb clinics that preform abortions do it because they preform abortions, 9/11 was done because Osama Bin Laden hates America and Americans and the way we live and wants to destroy all of us. So I guess there is some pretty big differences. Plus, in a clinic there is usually never over what say a dozen people? Verses the THOUSANDS of Americans that was in the TWIN TOWERS alone, then you add all the people that was on all 4 airplanes and in the PENTAGON, ok, see there is a big dif, if you don't see, get someone to explaine it to you.

The only difference I can see is bombing abortion clinics achieves more for the bombers than the attacks on the World Trade Center did for those nuts. By this I mean, in addition to just causing terror which is basically what a terrorist is out to do, the clinic bombers unfortunately also succeed in shutting down that particular clinic by basically destroying the building it is located in. The attackers on the WTC seemed to be just out to cause terror and an incredible amount of pain, suffering, and death, but only secondarily any economic damage. Unfortunately, a terrorist achieves economic damage as a secondary effect to setting out to cause terror. Clinic bombers are out to destroy the clinic first, cause fear second. At last that's how I see it, I could be wrong.

The fundamentalist that bomb abortion clinic, have scriptural basis for their acts. Christan's should preach the gospel, not killing those who don't live as they to. I am a Jehovah Witness i preach to others but it's up to them to live by bible standards or not. Their is nothing fundamental about Murdering others.

Those who bomb abortion clinics are followers of a god that rewards them for murder and pain. Their god is unable to protect the soul of the fetus and therefore commands them to commit murder in the name of their god (the anti Christ).
One day they will be punished for their actions. The bible is clear that those who follow the wrong will suffer gods wrath.
MY GOD is an all powerful and all loving God that has the power over life and death. My God invented abortion and uses it daily to make the world a better place. MY God protects the fetus in abortion and does not allow death of the fetus, just as he gives everlasting life.
IN abortion there is no murder and no death under God.

hmm one obvious difference is that when abortion clinics are bombed usually only a few (<5) people are injured/killed as opposed to 3K people on 9/11

I've been making that point for years, there is none whatsoever. However, I do disagree that fundamentalism is evil, an ideology can be misguided, even flat out wrong, but only an individual person can be evil.

Oh, they're very different.

If you kill christians in the name of "allah", you're a criminal who should be lynched immediately without trial.

If you kill doctors or bomb abortion clinics, you'll get a free pass (no chance of facing the death penalty) if you kill people the regime disagrees with politically.

They are not. You are entirely correct.
It amuses me no end when a christian says "I'm not advocating murder of abortion doctors BUT..." because of course that BUT negates everything they've said before. Meaning that of course they DO advocate the murder of these health-care professionals.
Christians are such hypocrites...

They just kill a lesser number of innocent people when they bomb a clinic. Both are terrorists.
