Usually, I'd say, it's the battle every individual wages within him/herself in the choice between right and wrong, good and evil.
By the way, many Muslim scholars consider the "real meaning" (or at least the primary meaning) of jihad to be exactly this.

Spiritual battle, also known as spiritual warfare, is the battle between good and evil, right and wrong. It is a supernatural battle which we can not see or hear. It is evil working on us to do wrong, and at the same time good is working on us to do what's right. It is a constant battle, and with faith and a strong will good will prevail over evil.

satan was cast out of heaven and he is still waging war to think some people actually side with satan is rediculous dont they understand he hates them! satan hates us he despises us he hates the very air you breath then some turn around and try and worship him..talk about the most stupid thing..i Love and worship the Lord God he is our father and i only hope that one day i can stand in heaven serving our dear father until then i will fight here on earth
