Sure---Boredom is closely related to grief in my way of thinking. When a person loses a spouse, a lot of times they die not long after. Which also can be from that very reason.

I think that extreme boredom could lead to a loss of the will to live which in turn could lead to thoughts of ending ones own life!

If you hang around Answers just after the pubs close in the UK, then boredom is likely to cause you either to die or to kill. Or is it frustration with the mindlessness of the human race. One or t'other.

I am not really sure. But after reading "hint of mint's" answer I just might! That was so lame! If you have nothing else to do but to be so rude "hint of mint" then please get off the computer!!!

I think after people retire, if they don't find something to keep themselves interested in life, they can go downhill very quickly. So yes, I guess in a sense, it is possible.
