i think this is abnormal only depending on how long its been open....also, is there any pus or fluid oozing out.....if so....go to a different vet to get him checked out......you may be able to take legal action against vet who did surgery if its not healing or he botched it

Were the dewclaws removed at 2-3 days as they should be? At 3 months this should have healed up a long time ago! Take her to the Vet!

There will be a scar in the area where the claw was rmoved.
It should heal up and not be an open wound.
Mine have little bare spots where theirs were.

Removed at **3** months??? Normally done shortly after birth.

normal just needs to heal.
