well for me God is undescribe-able, a much bigger than our capacity of mind...
God is all the universe.. The millions galaxy out there.. and everything in this world... God is all and all are God...
God is the big bang, the love, the void, everything !
take a look a picture of our galaxy compared with all other galaxies..
why the more i read this Y!A, i'm getting a definition of God is like somehow a human figure ? a father ? a king ? all-loving but can angry.. i don't know.. a like superior human being ? creator of us ?
imagine this..
if you watched thousands ants walking in your garden.. you can drop them some biscuit or you can shower them with water..
why the God concept i got here a bit like above ...
what i believe is.. we just can't describe God.. it's too big to handle for our mind...

i'm almost possitive that i'm misinterpreting the whole concept of god. it's far beyond the interpretation of man.

you are right there, nobody can describe GOD but you could based how HE worked the wonders of the world. We, HIS creations are the best example, the oceans, the mountains and the planets and everything else. GOD is above of all everything. I really wonder why some people dont believe HE really did exist where the proof is already there, around us? That's because people are getting smarter and they think they can oppose the truth that there was no GOD at all but just a mere illusions of people in the past that passed from generation to the next coming generations. People have the right to believe but questioning GOD's existence and its wonders, i just cant believe it!

I feel the same way. I think some organized religions tried to humanize God in order to make it easier to understand and to have a certain amount of power over the masses. I believe in God but I do not belong to any organized religion that tried to dumb Him down for me or force an image upon me that just isn't possible.
Find your own path to God...seek help from others when you need it but your path will be your own, no one can take you to Him the way He can Himself.
Good Luck.

Yes we can. God is the Father os all souls the Supreme soul. We are His children, the souls. A soul is a point of light. We go thru the cycle of birth & death unlike God. So, we perform action, good & bad. Over the time, we have lost most of virtues & qualities since we 1st took life on earth. There is no single human being on earth now full of all virtues. That is why all the great saints want us to pray to the Father cos He is still pure, full of all virtues & good qualities.

Just remember that while GOD is all that you have described, that he is also personable.
Not a person, but personally involved with many of us.
It states this in the bible and little speck of a me, has felt this awesome personal involvement.
I do not understand all, and will never claim perfection, but I know that GOD is all, and all means that he can be and is personally involved.

Yes ... I find no flaw in these thoughts ...
Vedantic scripture approaches similar(the Upanishads) ... "the ineffable " ..."that which cannot be described " ...
I mention this as a "comparative religion" note ... that there is precedent of similar lines of thinking in Eastern Religions .... "Dhammapada" of Bhuddhism too ..
Like you ... I find no orthodox vessels hold or encapsulate this for me ... and the consequence isn't sad, but rather joyus and without horizens ...

..but whatever you decide, waiver not - "
But let him ask in faith, without any doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven by the wind and tossed." James 1:6
yea or nay, - read the Bible, listen to the Holy Spirit, fellowship with true believes, -damn the torpedos full steam ahead!!

God is too big to understand on our own. That's why He revealed His nature and His will through the Bible.

To me one can only follow God with his heart. Following your heart means you're on the right path.
