Pass it on your own...while not always painless, it the easiet way. Their are many othe options...ESWL(extracorporal shockwave lithotripsy), surgical procedures like endoscopic stone extraction, percutaneous nephrolithotomy,etc.,etc. A urologist can evaluate you and give you the best advice on diagnosis and treatment.
See a doctor, before you try it on your own.

Hello. I have had 1000's of kidney stones in my lifetime and they are no fun. I have a condition called renal tubular acidosis. It is where the kidneys tubes fail. I've been through 4 surgeries. 3 were the old fashioned kind with the stent and basket and all, and the 4th one was lithtropsy. It was the best, but the best way to pass without surgery is to flush the stones out with water. If you are a man, pull back the lips of the penis and you may find that the stone is just lodged inside of the tip, which can cause tremendous amounts of pain. Also, try cranberry juice. Lots of it. When I get a stone lodged, I drink only cranberry juice. NO FOOD! JUST JUICE!!! Until it passes on it's own. Hope this helps. Know that I feel for you and am praying for you.

My heart LITERALLY goes out to you. I had a stone a couple years ago and it was the WORST pain I have ever been in.

I did pass the stone eventually only to learn I have another stone
9mm in length still in my left Kidney.

I am pretty sure there is no real easy way to get rid of them, but I have heard they can use sonics to cause them to break up. THAT would be a hell of a lot easier thatn passing it.

I wish you well in what is going to be a bit of pain. DRINK lots of water.

I couldn't just sit around and do nothing like my doctors suggested.

They didn't want me to do anything or to take herbs or herbal remedies, but I had to try something - they just wanted me to do dialysis!

This program allowed me to take control of my health. I went from Stage 4 to Stage 3 kidney disease.

It was easy to do and my BUN, creatinine and anemia are all in better ranges.

You've got 2 choices. Well, your doctor does. To either let it come out on its own or to break it into smaller pieces with ultrasonic waves. Either way, it's going to hurt. Pray he uses ultrasonic waves.
