my boyfriend and i have been going out for 7 months now and he's started to not give me affection, he always buys me stuff when all i want is a kiss or hug, i've told him about this and he just says that we don't have to kiss all the time. Help me make him be affectionate again please :D

sounds like a classic male avoidance of intimacy. this may stem from how he was raised. if the family was not very touchy feely then he may think he is being perfectly normal to be a little distant from you.
all i can suggest is you sit him down and demand that he is more affectionate towards you, because the way he is behaving makes you feel like he does not love you as much as he once did. you need to say if you still love me then be more affectionat gifts are good but a hug is better.
when di he stop being as affectionate as he used to, was it recently (after england lost the world cup)?
if so he may be a big baby footy fan who is depressed the team lost.
or he is getting peer pressure from his mates about the two of you dating.
either move on to a different more affectionate guy or just sit him down quietly at home (no background noise (tv/radio etc.)) and explain in detail what he is doing wrong and how you want things to change and what will happen if he fails to make the changes within a given period of time.
JUST TALK TO HIM!
the choice as they say is yours.

OK, how about this......either he's embarrassed to give public display or he's just not the romantic type.....or maybe he lost interest, some guys just get bored of the same routine! Trust me there's no way to know what's inside a guy's head, the only way you can try to get into their head is by asking them directly!
Just ask him if he isn't interested anymore or if he likes someone else, just try to talk to him, that's the only way you can know what's going on, I mean there are many possibilities! Why make yourself crazy trying to findout the real reason when you can just get an answer from him? Good Luck

it looks like this guy knows you inside and out, and that is always a drawback with guys. they dont like the obvious so you should always be tantalising and new so that he keeps wanting to see further. the fact that he was attracted to you in the first place means there was something good and new about you which now might be good but no longer new! so try something else, you will get him back.

simple you cant he just plain aint into hugging!!!but it dont mean he doesnt love u the same as u do him he just cant show u physically is all!i sure he will in time is only seven months afer all be happy and let him be i sure u will be suprised in time
