Is it possible to be allergic to alcohol? If so is one equally allergic to all types of alcohol or do different types cause a more severe reaction?

Uh not allergic to alcohol it's the stuff in alchol like hops and byproducts that are gonna have a reaction. it's why some people can drink martinis all night but if they drink a beer they feel like crap.

People with wheat allergies are allergic to alcohol.

Absolutely!! For me its beer, simply get a hang over from even a small amount of any malted beverage. So, life goes on without beer.
