It may depending on the dye.Blue may actually make them appear whiter though.Many detergents have traces of blue to make your whites look whiter.

Do you think if it was going to discolor your teeth that they would dye it in the first place?

Yes, certain mouthwash will discolour your teeth, like chlorhexidine. However it is excellent in dealing with gum diseases so the benefits outweigh the side effect. =)

If the quality of the mouthwash being used by you is proper it should not .

It wouldn't make sense to put something in a product to help your mouth end up hurting your mouth.
