It seems that God explains the unexplainable...

How did the universe come about? God created it.

But the loose end is now just a different one. Who created God?

I used to think that God was like the Dread Pirate Roberts from the movie, The Princess Bride - that God would recruit a new thing to fulfill its role, over and over again, such that "god has no end" so all these new gods inherit It's powers.

But I went through that phase for all about 10 minutes, and concluded that it is not likely, and what is likely, is that there is no God. Which is ok, because it encourages people to make the most of life now, and live for the moment.

God is there and has been since before there was time. Yes, God created the universe. He is a spiritual being, not of flesh as we are. He does not have a physical body, so He did not need to be created. These are the abstract things that our concrete human minds cannot fully comprehend. They have to be accepted on faith.

Why do you think John Lennon was killed, remember the song Imagine? That's right, we create reality, so if you Imagine, just like the song called, we would create Heaven on Earth baby!

I believe there is a God, but since he is the creator of everything we are not capable of understanding him/her. We are smart creatures but we aren't that smart. It would be like trying to explain to an ant what Picasso's Cubism was. They don't understand art. There are many things we don't understand either, but that doesn't mean they're non existant. We don't understand who created God or where he is, but he's out there.

God is obviously not controlled by the limits of physical nature (if he was then how did he create the universe) if so he has no physical boundaries i.e. time and space. He is always and everywhere.

God always has been. Nobody created him, he just was.

I know it is hard to wrap your mind around, but us humans are incapable of understanding these things.
