Like,

GOD will open the floodgates of heaven and bless his children?

If so, why are there so many broke/poor church goers?

Nearly everyone on TV is in it for the money. I believe the Bible, but I don't believe them.

They say that if you send your "seed money," God will bless you a hundredfold. First, that's not a gift; that's a loan. Second, if they believe that, why don't they send us money, and let God repay them a hundredfold?

Even Christians don't believe most of these so called televangelists. Jesus said "Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." (Matthew 7:20) If someone is preaching from the Bible, I will listen. If someone is preaching an agenda, vote with your remote control! Support your local church. They will preach the Word, feed the poor, cloth the poor, and be the hands and feet of Christ. Do not confuse "show-business" with Christianity! I don't believe in generalizing every pastor, teacher, or evangelist with a television ministry in the category of being on TV solely for the purpose of collecting money. But, I , also, don't feel much compassion for an individual wearing a $5,000.00 suit asking me to send him seed money. My church has expenses which must be paid every month, I will continue to tithe there. God does bless His children everyday, but not with money.

The only ones who believe the televangalists are the old, the sick, the lonely and the infirm. Because they desperately want something/someone to believe in.

Unfortunately televangalists really only are after their money so they can buy gold toilet seats and laugh at the poor people they have swindled...

They must because they freely send their money to these wackos.

There are poor people in both *believers* & *non-belivers*.
Some believers are a little less wealthy because they give their money to their churches.
Other people believe that believers have more money because they are blessed. At least they spend less money at the bar & the crack house because they are busy at church.

You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but not all the people all the time. Televangelists are entertainers. I caught one telling a lie the other day.

Only a fool would believe anything a televangelist claims.

They are the ultimate liars in a den of professional liars.

I believe that Lewis Carroll put it best...

Even a clock that is broken and does not run is right twice a day.

No, most of these give our faith a bad name. No wonder people are turned off from Christianity with these false prophets.
