my ex had been calling and calling. i finally answered. he says he wanted to know if i was ok. we started talking, i broke down crying saying how could he and what about all the promises he had made. he said he had things he needed to work on as a man, i agreed but said if he really loved me he could do both (be with me and work on himself). long story short we kept talking back and forth, he's saying he's going to always be in my life because he's always gonna care for me. the last thing he said was he couldnt come back now anyway..i said why not....he said because he acted rash...thats when the phone got cutt off. what do yall think about the situation?

It seems that your ex thinks he got into the relationship too fast with you. He probably doesn't want to be in a relationship right now, but that doesn't mean he doesn't care for you because if he didn't he wouldn't have been trying to get in touch with you. If he wants to be alone right now let him. The worst mistake you can make is to make him do something he's not ready to do. It only creates more problems for the relationship when you try to make someone do what they really don't want to do. It also sounds like there is something else there, but only he knows it. let things run their course and try to find strength within yourself to get through this. Always rememebr all is Destiny. If you two are meant for more of a relationship then it will happen. If you two are meant for each other and a future it will happen. Sometimes things have to happen even if it feels bad, but it always works itself out in the end for the individual. I wish you the best!!!

Maybe he cares, but doesn't want to commit to you.

I know it's easier said than done. But think about what you want for you & not what he's thinking, or doing.
Once you concentrate on what you want, that's what you'll get.
