I mean...there's so many races, but most of them don't get a fair bargain. Most kids have to suffer until they're too old to remember what it was when they thought they were perfect, as in when they were real small. What d'you think? And if he is, what does he use to determine who gets the worse end of the deal?

We humans often tend to rail against God when things don't work out to our satisfaction or when we don't understand the horror/pain behind circumstances. People say that God can not exist or blame God because there is so much pain and suffering in the world.

The fact is that we are responsible for most of our own suffering.

Man is born into this world with a choice to make. He can choose God and follow the path He lays out before him, or turn from God and follow his own man made plan. One man by himself generally can not cause much mischief, but add a few billion people into the mix and the results may be catastrophic.

Add natural disaster, unchangeable weather and Satan into the formula and the resulting mess can be quite disturbing.

God created each one of us with a planned purpose in this life. It is up to us to choose God, discover that plan and then enter into it.

There are no guarantees that the choice to follow God will be painless, the Bible in fact tells us that suffering will follow those who follow Him. But great joy will also be a part of it. There is no greater thing in this life than to know that you are in God's perfect will for your life.

Man does not and never will have all the answers.

God chooses what we will look like and where we will be born. He chooses the gifts we are born with and He designs a path before us. It is up to each one of us to step onto that path.

I hope this answer has been of some help to you.

i don't think God is racist.if you read the first book in the bible which is Genesis,it suggests that God created man without any differences.(this means without any differences in race or religion).through the ages, man has travelled throughout the world exploring new lands & settling down there & preferably, they had the immense urge to prove that they were different from other people & that's probably how different races came into the world.i highy doubt that God would have wanted the human race to be divided into so many races.it's our ancestors who had decided that division of races was essential.hence, that means that he takes absolutely no part in the determining who gets the worse end of the deal.well,at least that's my opinion!cheers!
p.s.i see you're a srilankan too.nice to meet someone from srilanka finally.haven't met any srilankans upto now on yahoo answers-arios amigo!

Well, now that you mention it......

In the Bible, God does seem to show a preference towards the Hebrew race (Jews), and the Bible makes no mention of other races like Asians, or Hispanics, etc.

All those "begats" were all Jews....all the way down to Jesus.

But, of course, the Bible was written by Jews, right? I guess that explains a lot, doesn't it? LOL!

But to answer your question.....NO, God is not a racist! (But apparently, the Humans HE created to tend to be racist once in a while)

I don't think he is racist because he made all of us the way he did and there is a purpose to everything eh does isn't there? Okay so maybe I ended up answering a question with a question but maybe everything does happen for a reason no matter how bad it seems..

How can God be racist when all the souls in the world are His children? Unlike humans, God does not belong to any race but He belongs to all races.

If you believe in God, then yes it would seem he is. I mean, if he controls everything, then why is it that all the people in Africa are poor and all the white westerners are rich (relatively), it would seem God is a racist. Yet more proof there is no God.

God is not a racist....the people who you say "don't get a fair bargain"...they just need to get off their lazy butts and start working hard. the results are amazing once people stop mooching off the govt and other people.

I dont think God decides if you die or not. Even if he does, death wouldnt be the end, it'll be a start of eternal life. God is no racist. He treats everyone equally, remeber " in his eyes we are all equal".
